Geyserville Inn

a large pale yellow building with multiple decks and stairs. It's surrounded on two side by lush green vineyards, on side by a lawn and the fourth side by trees. In the background are tree covered mountains.

Tucked amidst the picturesque vineyards and mountains of Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley, the Geyserville Inn is the quintessential Northern California Wine Country getaway and the only area hotel surrounded by vineyards. Our recently renovated rooms and suites blend all the comfort and elegance of a contemporary boutique hotel with the intimacy, warmth, and unhurried ambiance of a rustic bed and breakfast. Our onsite restaurant the Geyserville Grille offers tasty, farm-to-table meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Colagrossi Wines

This week, the Winestopper paid a visit to Craig Colagrossi at Colagrossi Wines in Windsor. Craig wanted to highlight his 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, something that we feel would be enjoyed immensely at this time of year! Per Craig, it features dark cherry, ( classic AV fruit),  mid – heavy weight, with subtle tannins for a young Cab.

He also recommending pairing it with a mushroom / sausage pizza 🙂
 and pesto chicken gnocchi.

Thanks so much for the map. Heading down to Sonoma County for time along the Wine Road is our favorite get-away. Wineries are great, scenery is stunning. Perfecto!

We love to escape winter in Chicago and head to Sonoma County. We discover new wineries and make new friends. It seems we always start planning our next trip when we're on our way home!

Bob R. Chicago

Because of the podcasts that you and Marcy conduct, I am planning a trip to stay in Sonoma. Your descriptions and sense of fun make a slightly longer drive meaningful. Keep up the good work.
